Our San Luis Potosí and Xilitla Adventure
August 2, 2010Siempre me ha cautivado el poder que tiene una fotografía, por eso decidí dedicarme a esto, pero otra de las ‘misiones’ que decidí emprender al volverme un fotógrafo de bodas ha sido el poder demostrar atravéz de mis fotos lo bello que es mi país, lo alucinante que México es.
Este fin de semana nos tocó viajar por la Huasteca Potosina, en el bello estado de San Luis Potosí para hacer un Trash The Dress. EL lugar que escogimos para esta sesión fué Las Pozas de Edward James en un pueblo localizado enmedio de la selva de nombre Xilitla.
Rara vez en mi vida había visto un lugar tan bello, tan magnífico, tan mágico, se convirtió ya en uno de mis lugares favorito de todo México, la fusión de belleza natural y arte surreal es increíble, aquí les dejo unos clicks de éstos lugares, lo mejor, el resto del lugar, se los mostraré en el post completo del Trash The Dress de Pau y Alex ;)

I have always been captivated by the power of a photograph, that’s why I decided to become a photographer, but another one of the ‘missions’ that I took myself when I became a wedding photographer was also to show throgh my photos the beauty of my country, to show how amazing Mexico is.
This past weekend I had to travel to the Huasteca Potosina (The Mountains from San Luis Potosí) in the beautiful estate of San Luis Potosí for a Trash The Dress session. The location we chose for the session was Las Pozas of Edward James in a small town located in the middle of the jungle called Xilitla.
Very rarely I have seen something as beautiful as this place, as magical, as magnificent, it is already on the top list of my favorite place in the whole country. The fusion of natural beauty and surreal art is simply unveliable. The Pozas with freezing cold water from the cascades. This water makes the temperature of the Cenote’s from the Riviera Maya seem like thermal waters.

El lugar es súper! Avisa cuando salgan las imágenes del trash! Esa selva se presta para tus claro-oscuros de una manera increíble!
