Weddings like Mariel and Jhonny’s are one of a kind, the kind of weddings that you enjoy even more. For some complicated reasons beyond the control of anybody, Mariel and Johnny’s wedding changed locations and the whole wedding was planned from scratch again in just 3 days. There is no doubt that the greatest weddings are great because of people who is part of them, the couple, the families, the guests. Mariel and Johnny’s wedding was one of those great weddings…

Very rarely I submit a series of shots, but I couln’d resist to do so with this one…

I wonder what they were chatting about…

I love to learn from people’s personalities, from who they are, this is the case of Ana and Checho, they are a couple that are so genuine and humble and it was such a joy to work with them and being around them. Thank you so much for trusting me and for your entire disposition to all my wishes to get the photos that I wanted to take from you! Thanks so much!

I have worked in approximately 60 weddings or so and sometimes you think that after 60 weddings you are pretty much prepared for everything, or at least that’s the idea you have. Well, I was wrong.

I had never had such an intense experience and the one I had in Amry and Edgar’s friend, a couple of friends that I know since a few years ago. Everything ran just smoothly right after the ceremony, afterward, a group of gray clouds were on top of us, the wedding was outdoors, there was no tent, nor roof.

It happened in just a matter of seconds, right after Amyra and Edgar were about to finish dancing their first dance as husband and wife the first raindrops started to fall, from there, the adventure started. This was the first wedding where I had witnessed the bride Trashing her dress right after her first dance. The storm hit us hard, really hard, and everybody ran for cover, except Amyra and Edgar! They were there for their wedding, to enjoy their moment, their party, their once in a lifetime celebration. They say that rain during your wedding day is a blessing, well I’m sure God will endlessly bless your marriage guys! Thanks for everything!

The sunset light during their ceremony was unreal…

Playful child, playful clouds…

The first drops started to fall, the adventure was about to begin…

Run for cover!

A few lucky ones made it dry to safe ground :)

This is when the real party started, friends and couple, dancing in the pouring rain…

Soaking dresses…

The party kept on going in the venue’s kitchen, yeah!!

The calm after the storm…

The clothes didn’t get to dry at 100% but this was such an unbelievable reception…
