Angie + Andrew – The Puebla, MEX. Wedding
September 28, 2009Ella supo donde iba a casarse desde que era casi una niña. Le bastó una visita a la hermosa iglesia de Tonanzintla, en la ciudad de Puebla, México, para saber que ahí, en ese lugar, vestiría de blanco y estaría al lado del hombre de su vida. Sus sueños no cambiaron, el destino la mandó hasta La Gran Manzana y ni el paso de los años ni la distancia borró nunca la ilusión y cuando Angie supo que Andrew sería el compañero de su vida llamó a su familia en su natal Monterrey para contarles la noticia y decirles dónde iba a ser el lugar de la boda – Se acuerdan de esa iglesia en Puebla, en la que dije que me iba yo a casar…?
La familia de Angie y la de Andrew tuvieron que hacer entonces las maletas, muchos desde la Sultana del Norte, otros desde el norte pero de Estados Unidos para llegar a mi querida Puebla. Mayo iba a ser la fecha y entonces cinco caracteres le pusieron pausa a todo: AH1N1. Todos esperamos pacientes, una pausa de 1 mes y finalmente llegó el día, una bellísima tarde lluviosa de Junio, en la que tuve el gusto de conocer a Angie y Andrew, y en la que pude hacer los clicks de una de las bodas mas lindas que he tenido a lo largo de este año. Regresar a mi hogar a tomar bodas es una sensación indescriptible, recorrer todos esos lugares donde crecí y hacer clicks en esas calles, pero es mejor aún hacerlo cuando te topas en la vida con gente tan maravillosa como Angie y Andrew. Disfruté cada segundo de ese fin de semana. Gracias chicos, no tienen una idea de cúanto se les aprecia. Todas las bencidiones para su matrimonio!

Ever since she was a girl, she knew where she was going to get married. A visit to the beautiful Church of Santa María Tonanzintla, in Puebla Mexico, was enough for her to know, that she was going to be dress in white, side by side with the man of his life, inside that magical place. Her dream never changed, destiny sent her all the way to the Big Apple but not even time nor distance were capable of diluting her illusion. When Angie met Andrew and knew he was the one, she called her family in her hometown of Monterrey to let them know about the big news and where the wedding was going to be at – Do you guys remember that church back in Puebla, where I said I was going to get married in?
So both, Angie and Andrew’s families had to pack up, and travel all the way down from Monterrey and North U.S. to my hometown of Puebla, Mexico. May was the month and everything was ready to go when suddenly five small characters pressed the ‘pause’ button on everything: AH1N1. However, we all patiently waited and after a month everything was again ready to go! The day finally came and I met Angie and Andrew in a beautiful rainy weekend of mid June. Then, I had the chance to click in one of the most incredible weddings I have had during this year. Going back to my hometown to shoot weddings is an incredible experience. To walk as a tourist in the places I grew up and do clicks everywhere is just awesome, but it is even better when you meet in this life such fantastic people like Angie and Andrew and you get to do all those clicks for them. I enjoyed every second of that weekend. Thank you guys, you don’t have an idea how much you are appreciated. Tons of blessings for your marriage!
