Gracias!

In this job, you are very fortunate when you have the opportunity to work with such lovely and incredible couples just as Rocio and Jacob. They just have that charm for the camera, that happiness and that I don’t know what that made me fell in love with wedding photography on the first instance.

Here I share with you my favorite clicks from their e.session in the beautiful San Miguel de Allene, which I had the honor to shoot together with my friend Citlalli Rico. Thanks so much Citla! Soon the full wedding post!

Love this reflection by Citla!

I love weddings in central Mexico, I just can’t help it, I feel close from home, I feel proud of making clicks in so many beautiful cities of Mexico and I get inspired when couples feel the same way, so inspired by these places that they decided to have their weddings there. Vale and Poncho’s wedding in Quinta Rubelinas in Cuernavaca Morelos was one of those weddings. Thank you so much Vale and Poncho for all your attentions and for your full trust in me, I can’t thank enough you guys for taking me to such an amazing place to tell your story. Thanks!
Thanks so much to my friend Daniel Ramirez for helping me out in this wedding and completing the story with his shots, thanks a lot bro!

Rehearsal Dinner: El Madrigal
Wedding Venue: Quinta Rubelinas

The day before the wedding I attended to the El Madrigal restaurant for an couple of engagement shots at night before Vale’s rehearsal dinner :)

Loved the cozy mood of the rehearsal dinner!

Time to get ready!

Loved loved loved Vale’s shoes!

I love veils and I even love more when veils love me back a little bit!

Power lunch!

This is my dress shot, very rarely I see guys handling and taking care of the dress.

Final details…

A cool kick butt yellow bouquet!

This photo is my tribute to Erin Chrisman’s veil shot. I couldn’t help to play around with the concept!

It is time!

I love this photo for one single reason, this is when Vale just turned to her Dad, very excited and said: Dad.. Wow! I’m getting married!

Wow indeed…!

Striking ceremony venue!

The priest said something like: Take a look around Vale and Poncho, go ahead, take a look around, and see all the people that you love gathered here…!
I know how that feels, best feeling in the world ever!

Whoa!

It was quite an emotive first dance..

Just like my friend Ed Atrero said, I love when I have weddings at Imperial Star Destroyers

Party Time!

Flamenco skills!

Time for some karaoke with live mariachis…

and the party kept on going!

Just right before we started with the e.session of Pei + Yeyo, Peki had a request that no couple had requested before. Peki said something like this: “Daniel, I know it is very common now to make photos of the couple with no heads or just the feat or posing the couple separated from each other. I don’t want any of that, my only request is that I want that in all our photos, Yeyo and me can be together.”

I loved her request because of two thing, first and the less important one, was because I had to focus just on them, just on how they are, how they have fun together, who they are, no complex compositions, just them.

Second, and most important, is that after I got to know Peki and Yeyo and seeing how madly in love they are for each other, I understood that’s the way they should be photographed and will be on their lives, always together, not separated, simply, always together.

Thanks so much to The Inn at Chachalaca Bend for being so awesome with us!
