Farewell 2010, Hi 2011…

December 31, 2010

Gracias.

Every time that I’m booked for a wedding in Puebla I get very excited. It is a mix of joy and nostalgia that always translates into happiness in every click that I do while shooting the wedding. Consue + Oscar’s wedding was not the exception, I had the pleasure to tell the story of their wedding day in Teziutlan, Puebla and I also got to know the incredible couple they are during their Trash The Dress session the following day. Thanks for the experience Consue and Oscar and thanks so much to my buddy Arturo Gonzalez for helping me out during this adventure!

Guest Photographer: Arturo Gonzalez
Live Mexican Guitar Concert: Paco Renteria

Loved how all the shapes of the veil and Consue’s profile blended in this portrait of her!

This was another one of my favorite shots, a very quick and intimate moment of Oscar and Consue right in the middle of the family portrait’s chaos…

Loved Consue’s reaction right after she saw the church decorated for her wedding day and was about to walk down the aisle…

Tezitutlan’s Cathedral fully decorated: Breathtaking.

The venue had such a romantic vibe during the first dance…

If you haven’t heard Paco Rentería’s music, (most of you probably have, but don’t know yet, how about the theme song from Antonio Banderas’ “Desperado” movie?) you have to, he is really one of the best Mexican Guitar players out there… It was a delight listening to his show in Consue + Oscar’s Wedding.

Yeah!

This was a great shot by my man Arturo Gonzalez, love that expression!

Oscar took the ‘rockstar’ performance a little too serious, his stage-dive was cunning!

Time to fly Oscar!

This is one of those long posts where I find very hard to narrow down the final selection of my photos. It is even harder when the truth is, that this wedding was full of beautiful moments all day long. Thanks so much to Mel and Diego for giving me the chance to tell the story of their beautiful wedding and for giving me the chance to live the adventure of doing clicks in such a magical place as Africam. Thanks a million! I can’t wait for the Trash The Dress Session!

Venue: Africam Safari
Video: REELOVE
DJ: Ezquerro

There were so many awesome moments during Mel’s getting ready!

This was my first time doing the bride and groom portraits with a giraffe! Quite a fun challenge!

My tribute to Gregory Colbert:

The venue was breathtaking…

Love how emotive this ceremony was!

Just like rockstars do!

Loved the air mic!

Mel’s brother ready to prepare a traditional tribal rite from Africa…

Quite a strong rite…
